William B. [Bill] Moore, Artist
Welcome to my online portfolio. Please email me if you see something you want to explore.
I am eighty-six years young and retired from a career of Engineering and Design & Construction Management of chemical plants, commercial office buildings, and hotels. My introduction to painting was in pastels in 1980 and was interrupted by work until resuming more actively in 1990, and I now work in watercolor. Local Denver area instructors have offered a range of techniques and challenges. These have included: Ric Brogan at the Curtis Arts and Humanities Center, Dennis Pendleton at the Denver Art Students League, Teresa Smith at the Arvada Center, and Scott Ronzio at the Lakewood Arts Council. Traveling overseas has given me opportunity and inspiration for a variety of subject matter. I work from mostly photographs and sketches. Please click on one of the categories in the vertical left hand column for examples of my work.
